Wearable technology has become a popular trend, with companies offering gadgets like smart watches and devices that can be worn on the head. Now, Microsoft hopes to go a step further with the HoloLens.
The HoloLens is different from other glasses that allow users to experience virtual reality. This is because it blends holograms, which are 3-D images created by lasers, with the real world. This technology may be used for many purposes, such as providing technical instruction or working together on design projects. For example, if you needed help with figuring out how to repair a water pipe, a friend could assist you by drawing images using a computer; these images would then appear as holograms in your real world. In addition, the HoloLens understands body movement, vision, and voice. This lets users interact with it naturally.
An exciting invention, the HoloLens probably won't be in people's homes anytime soon. Instead, it might be used in fields like space exploration.
