Dana: What are you reading? Jason: I'm reading Tom Sawyer.
Dana: Do you like the book?
Jason: Yes. The story is interesting.
Dana: I agree. We discussed the book in my high school English class.
Jason: We discussed it too.
Dana: Do you like to discuss the book?
Jason: Not really. I'd rather read the book than talk about it.
Dana: Why? It's a fun story.
Jason: Well, sometimes I can't finish all the chapters.
Dana: Because of the hard vocabulary?
Jason: Yes. Also, I can't read very fast.
Dana: Reading is not always easy, but it's fun. I read books for fun. I just got a dozen books from the library!
Jason: That is a lot of books.
Tom: Yes, and I will read them all!
Jason: You must like to read.
Tom: I didn't before, but I found some reading tips. I decided to try them and read more this year.
Jason: Maybe I can read faster in a comfortable place. I'll try that.
Tom: If you read interesting books, you'll read faster. I like novels better than other books.
Jason: I like to read comics, but I can't read them for school.
Tom: Besides novels, I like to read science fiction. I can lend you a book. You might like it.
Jason: No thanks. I have to finish Tom Sawyer first!
